Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene (CSM)

Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene (CSM) elastomers are made with environmentally friendly technology. They have excellent heat, oil, fuel, ozone and UV resistance. Properly formulated compounds offer good dynamic properties and strong adhesion to various substrates.

 

Grade Cl2% MV Description and Application
CSM 3570
35 70

Medium viscosity grade with a good balance of processability and vulcanizate properties. It is generally used for applications that require superior ozone, weather, heat, oil, chemical and abrasion resistance.

CSM 3695
36 95

High Viscosity grade that is highly extendable and is generally used for applications that require high modulus, superior ozone, weather, heat, oil, chemical and abrasion resistance.

CSM 2570
27 70

CSM 2570 has low chlorine content, high green strength and very good low temperature properties. It has a good balance of properties and is generally used in hose, wire and cable jacketing, flexible magnets, and thermoplastic applications where high green strength is needed.
